Paraffin bath

Paraffin baths are designed for intensive care, hydration, stimulation and deep cleansing. They are especially recommended for people with dry, tired skin and for anyone whose hands are often in contact with chemicals and water. Thanks to its warmth, a paraffin bath is also very soothing for rheumatic complaints and arthritis.

The paraffin bath treatment

The treatment starts with a scrub, followed by a nourishing mask, after which pleasantly warm paraffin is applied to the hands or feet. A warmed glove or sock is then put on and left for 20 minutes. Every client receives a new glove, which maintains a high standard of hygiene.

As it cools under the glove, the paraffin releases active ingredients into the skin and has a therapeutic effect. After the treatment the skin is remarkably smooth, soft and visibly rejuvenated.

When the paraffin glove is removed, a pleasant massage follows. The skin becomes exceptionally soft and smooth, gains elasticity, moisture and radiance, and is protected from drying out and other external influences.
