Defined eyes without mascara every day is one of our clients' most common wishes. Two treatments make it possible: a lash lift and eyelash extensions. Both give beautiful results, but in completely different ways, so it is worth knowing the difference before you decide.
Lash lift: your own lashes, only more beautiful
A lash lift lifts and shapes your natural lashes from the root, so your eyes look more open and your lashes longer. It is usually combined with tinting, which gives the lashes a darker colour and a fuller look. The result is natural and needs no maintenance.
Extensions: volume and length as you like
With eyelash extensions, an artificial lash of carefully chosen length, thickness and curl is attached to each natural lash. This lets us create anything from a subtle natural look to dramatic volume. Because natural lashes grow and fall out in cycles, extensions need regular infills.

How to choose?
If your own lashes are long enough and you love a natural look, a lash lift is a simple, no-commitment choice. If your lashes are short or sparse, or you want a visibly more dramatic look, extensions will give you more. At a consultation we will assess your lashes together and suggest what will best highlight the shape of your eyes.
Aftercare
- avoid water, steam, sauna and rubbing your eyes for the first 24 hours
- with extensions, do not use oil-based makeup removers around the eyes
- gently brush your lashes every day with a clean brush
- sleep on your back or side, not face down on the pillow
